Government Funding

Scholastic Magazines+ are well aligned with the intents and purposes of the federal stimulus funds. The funds may be used for Magazines because the materials are designed to:

·      Engage students in relevant, skills-based content in school or at home

·      Address learning loss with meaningful activities that focus on core skills

·      Provide social and emotional support with inclusive texts featuring real young people

·      Expand digital resources with an interactive online platform that supports most Learning Management Systems

·      Help English-language learners (ELLs) thrive with audio, video and scaffolding supports

Eligible funds include:

ESSER • ESSER II • ESSER III

Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund

To address the impact on education arising from the COVID-19 pandemic, these funds provide critical support to educators in such areas as instructional materials, combatting learning loss, after-school and extended day programs, summer learning, social and emotional support, and much more. Magazines may be a perfect fit for you and your classroom in tackling many of these important needs.
